My first few weeks at secondary school

It’s been a couple weeks since I have joined secondary school. I have found out very interesting things about my school.

Let’s start off with sports. My school isn’t just a normal school, it’s a very sporty school. At my school, we do loads of sports such as hockey, badminton, cricket and even more! If you know me, I am a very sporty person. I like lots of sports and I love trying new things out. One of my favourite sports is rugby and football. You won’t believe this but at my school we don’t do football! At school I have been doing loads of sports. Doing different sports to me and finishing late was new to me.

This could be a reason why we don’t do football.  🙂

Something else that I assure you that I didn’t forget, are classes.

At my school we have hubs, and in each hub there are different subjects for example in hub 5 we have maths, hub 4 we have French. If you want to know which hub you are going to, on your timetable it will say what room number you are going to and if your room number was 367, your classroom would be in hub three and upstairs. We have lots of subjects at secondary school compared to primary. When I was still in year 6, we had 5 subjects. Also, at my primary school, we always started the morning by doing maths. On some days like Thursday, it was different because we might’ve done PE instead of English.

Lets not forget about food 🙂 Can I just start by saying our food is so goooooood!  I don’t eat pork but I still enjoy school meals. They make chicken that tastes really nice. Before you think to yourself It’s probably pork and I’m guessing you’re laughing at me, well guess what, it’s not! When you go and get your food there is a fridge section where you can get pork or tuna sandwiches. They mostly serve pork on the main counter. When they’re not serving pork, they serve chicken that’s not pig. For some reason it tastes like KFC and I’m still having thoughts on that.
