I would like to start off by saying rugby at my school is very popular. I am in the rugby team which I am very happy about. Some of the matches we play can sometimes be away or home.

In the few weeks I have been at my secondary school, one of the things I have enjoyed most is rugby as it is not only a fun sport it also makes me happy when I get involved in something I am good at. The last game I played was away. If you’re wondering what the score was, well it was 6-6. That’s not bad for one of the few games we have played.

It was a fun opportunity for me as some kids didn’t get selected. My friend, for example, wasn’t selected.The next night he was told he was selected because one kid who was selected was sick. He took his place. Whenever I play a smile always appears on my face.

I have the head of rugby as my form teacher which is good. Whenever he comes over to watch a match with me in training I always do my best so I impress him. Overall, I enjoy rugby a lot. I think everyone should try a new sport like this.
