I would like to start off by saying 2021 was a very eventful year. Moreover, it has felt really long but we are now in a new year. I will be talking about me moving school and about covid and many other things.
First of all, I am now in secondary school which was the next big chapter of my life. Converting from Primary school to Secondary school is a big thing to me and I am still getting used to everything. In Secondary school everything is different from sports, classes, food and classmates. In addition, it is all part of growing up.
When I started Secondary school I started a new sport that I enjoy very much. The sport I have started is rugby, a worldwide popular known sport. I play it alot at school. When I was in Primary we didn’t do rugby in PE or as an after school sport. The thing I love about rugby is how I get to play with my friends in a match or in training. I have written a blog about starting rugby at my school.
Secondly, covid is a big thing that is happening all over the world. It started in 2020 and has been going on for 2 years and has been a hard time for everybody as we couldn’t see some of our family and go to places we would usually go to. We have had 3 National lockdowns. Most people have been away from school for some time but now we should all be in school. Now that there is a new kind of virus, it is affecting more people now. However, the NHS and other workers are helping us so we can stay safe. So thank you NHS for what you have done.
Next, is football. Although England didn’t win the Euro competition, we did make it to the finals. Furthermore, we could win the world cup this year. In 2021, in the Euro competition, England beat some really good teams which proves we can win the world cup.
