It is the end of the summer term, which means in September I will be starting in year 8. I am still shocked it has already been a whole year and I’m going into year 8. I want to say that this year has been filled with many new experiences and I can say I enjoyed every bit of it. So let me tell you some of the things that happened to me during year 7.

First, were my end of year tests where they determined our sets for next year. I had to revise a lot for the test as I wanted the best results.In the end, I ended up getting A’s and B’s which is good. I ended up getting the highest score in my science class! I would say I found the tests difficult but with lots of revising I didn’t find them as hard. When the teacher announced we were going to have our end of year exams he also mentioned a whole week would be filled with tests. I was calm about the news but I was a bit nervous for the tests even though I had revised. After getting through the week it was even worse as I was thinking that I might’ve done really bad. But after getting my results I was pleased with myself.

Next was sport, one of my favourite hobbies that always makes me happy. Throughout the terms I have played different sports. For  example:hockey,rugby,cricket,softball,badminton and more. Before i joined year 7 i didn’t used to play most of the sports i play now and i have got really good at them. In my opinion I really like basketball and football.What do you like? I just had sports day a few weeks ago and we played softball and I was the captain. We played against many teams that were in our year and came seventh. Even though we didn’t do the best we all tried our best.

When I started the year 7 I was introduced to my classes and my timetable. At first, it was a bit hard getting used to my timetable and where my classrooms were but now I know where all my classrooms are which means I don’t need the sheet to tell me. Also, when I join year 8 I will get a different timetable and that will take a bit of time to get used to. Hopefully I will get a good timetable with most of my friends. This year I didn’t get any classes with my friends from different forms but I hope that changes. I also hope that I have a good new year with even more experiences.
